Wow! Dr. Ross Todd of Rutgers University dropped by the SAS Pudong Libraries this morning. We were honored and touched by his willingness to come and see both the Elementary Library (Kimbra Power) and the Secondary Library (Barbara and Tim Boyer). Dr. Todd had just completed a two day ACAMIS 2014 presentation to librarians at SCIS – Pudong where we were inspired to continue our work as librarians and to work to push the envelope as Teacher-Librarians in the ever changing world of Information Literacy. Dr. Todd stressed the point that we are needed and that we must work to do what it takes to assist in the creation of independent deep thinkers and readers.
