ECIS Librarians Conference – Waterloo, Belgium

ECIS Library Closing Keynote

Sep 27th – The ECIS Librarians Conference in Waterloo Belgium is nearly over.  Many great presentations with messages that work to push the boundaries of  librarianship.  It has been great to to have the opportunity to listen, gain information, be challenged, and make new contacts.  I will be bringing home to SAS a new vigor to further advance our library and better meet the needs of our students.  I have been a bit resistant about making radical changes in the library over the last few years but now is the time for change. The world of libraries is continuing to change and the challenge is to not follow the wave, but to ride the crest.  It is a bit of a wild ride then one makes the decision to make some bold moves but the time is now before it is too late. tsb 9/27/14
