May 18th, 2015– It has been a while since the last post.  A lot has happened.  From First Lego Tournaments in February and April, Authors in May and much much more.  We are nearing the end of the school year so there are some important dates to remember.

Important Library Dates as we finish out our School year

• Seniors it is time to turn in your library books and sign out for the year
• InterLibrary Loans have been discontinued for this school year.  They will start up again in August
• The last Student and Parent Checkout date is May 29th
• All Student and Parent books are due back to the library on June 3rd
• All Teacher/Staff Books are due back to the library by Jun 8th
• The library will close on June 12 for the Summer

Author Visits

A Big Thanks to our Visiting Authors– Candace Fleming, Eric Rohmann, and David Schwartz who were on campus April 11-15th.  Each WOWed! their audiences at the elementary and middle school level.  Thanks for bringing your time and talents to SAS

Our last Author of the year is Margi Preus.  She will be on campus May 221st.

OverDrive and BryteWave eBooks

Finally, SAS has dramatically increased its OverDrive holdings.  We are over 860 titles, most are eBooks, but we do have over 25 audiobooks.  If you have not come to the library to add OverDrive and BryteWave to your computer or reading device, it is time.  DON’T WAIT!
