SAS MS FLL Team Set for Next Saturday
Jan 31st – The SAS PD MS First Lego League Teams are getting set for next Saturday’s (Feb 7th) trip to HIS to compete. We are taking 8 teams as well as a boat load of equipment. We will be transporting 4 of our Lego competition boards as well as 6 of of Challenge Missions to HIS for the meet. Students are still working of various parts of their Presentations and Programing so this first competition is really about seeing where each team is an what they have to work on. The Final Competition of the year will be at SAS Pudong where we could see upwards of 40 teams which is double last year’s number.
So here we go “3..2..1..LEGO!”

SAS now has over 300 ebook titles on OverDrive. To access them you will need to add the OverDrive App to your device. If you need any assistance, please drop by the library and we can help.
Jan 12th Welcome Back to School – OverDrive News
Jan 12th – Welcome back to school. It has been a full day with many classes in the library already – New Student Orientation, Parent Mac and Me, 8th Grade Science as well as the usual flex classes.
The important news for today is that we have just added over 200 new OverDrive Ebooks to our catalog this morning. This make the total to date of 306 books in our Destiny. If you want to read these books you will need to download the OverDrive App on your personal device (ipad, Iphone, android…) and then add the Shanghai American School Library. OverDrive at SAS requires that you use your Destiny Login and Password to check out our books. For more info on this drop by the library and we will be glad to assist or you can follow the directions below. Please note, when you download OverDrive, you will have to register. Once you do this, restart the App, add the SAS Library and your checkout your first OverDrive Book.
