SAS was touched in our hearts and minds by Anis’s visit.  His poetry and his work with students drew students to him.  At the end of the week the SAS Pudong Poetry and Literary Club hosted a Poetry Celebration that drew over 100 students to the library to listen and share poems by candle light.  To get that many students on a Friday afternoon after school for 2 hours for poetry is huge.

Thanks Anis.  Where ever you go, know that you left a lot of yourself here at Shanghai American School and that we will “Shake the Dust” because you were here.  Best Wishes from SAS
