The SAS Librarians, with others will be gathering together this Tuesday, June 5th, for a memorial time in honor of Ellen Nugent.  Ellen, SAS Puxi Middle School Librarian, suddenly and unexpectedly died this past Monday (May 28th).  Ellen was a veteran Teacher/Librarian with 17 years at SAS.  I, as many others, depended and counted on Ellen’s knowledge and practical wisdom.  This was my first year in a library of my own.  I was on the phone weekly, if not daily, talking and running things by Ellen as I worked on budgets, purchasing, author visits and much more.  I will remember the many meetings together, the conferences, and Destiny discussions.  Thank you Ellen.  You will be missed… TBoyer (June 3, 2012)
